The use of tablets improves academic performance at Bukoba Hope Lutheran Secondary School

Bukoba Hope Lutheran Secondary School which is found in the Bukoba District, Kagera region has shined due to the use of modern technology in increasing academic performance of it's students, building the capacity of teachers so making the school an exemplary learning environment. 
Through an organization known as "Opportunity Education", the school launched and started to use electronic tablets which has been essential in realizing their academi goals.

With this programme, Students in their studies use these tablets through an application called Quest which is a product  of "Opportunity Education" . This application has given students an opportunity to access academic materials, assignments or exercises and following up their progress in a very modern way. This has helped in strengthening their understanding in different topics and giving students the ability to learn efficiently and fast. 

The program coordinator Mr. Emjen Makaka is of the opinion that this program is unique and has enabled teachers to see the progress of every individual student and in depth. 

Through this program, teachers are able to make a follow-up on the use of the tablets for every student and identify challenges. This has contributed so much in positively developing the results of examinations as students are helped according to their needs. 

The school registers a vote of thanks to the parents and guardians not only for their trust but also for registering their children at Bukoba Hope and for being good ambassadors of the school to the community. 
The school promises to continue giving better education, ethics based on Christian values and giving students the opportunity to learn through modern technology.
