Faith Strengthened in Bugango

The Assistant to the Bishop of the Northwestern Diocese, Dean Prof. Josephat Rweyemamu, has completed a four-day pastoral visit in Bugango Parish, North B Church District  a mission that touched hearts and renewed faith.

The journey began in Nkurungo and Kitoboka Mission area, where Dean Rweyemamu led services, baptisms, and Holy Communion, urging Christians to stand firm like Daniel and the three young men who trusted God in trials.

On the third day, he visited the Bugango Dispensary, encouraging health workers to serve with love and dedication as part of God’s ministry.

At Bwenkoma, he called believers to avoid false teachings and praised the ongoing construction of the new church building, urging members to give generously as a sign of living faith.

The visit concluded on Sunday, August 24, 2025, with a powerful service at Bugango Parish under the theme: “God Is Enough to Be Our Protector.” Quoting Isaiah 54:17, he reminded worshippers that “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

The service was also attended by Bukoba District Commissioner, Hon. Erasto Sima, who encouraged parents to raise their children in Christian values.

This pastoral visit was described as a great blessing, strengthening unity, reviving hope, and inspiring Christians to remain steadfast in their faith.
