How Bethania, UWALU, and children have satisfied the General Assembly of North Western Diocese ( SYNOD, 2025).
For a period of two years, 2023/2024, Umoja wa Wanaume Walutheri wa Dayosisi ya Kaskazini Magharibi (UWALU), Umoja wa Wanawake (Bathania) together with children have been strengthened through the efforts made by Department of Nurturing which aim at uniting the believers of all age groups in the work of God.
This has been explained by the Chairperson of UWALU- Southern A church district, Mr. Stephen Eustace, when reading his speech before the Guest of Honour during the special event, Bethania and UWALU day at the Synod, which is in progress at Muleba District.
He said that in this period, over 60 seminars have been done aiming at introducing UWALU together with forming different singing groups and shares to men, the aim being bringing them together in order to cooperate in doing the work of God.
In giving his word during this special event, Bishop Dr. Abednego Keshomshahara he said that the Department of Nurturing has continued doing its responsibilities in good faith, creativity, and unity.
The Church of God depends on men, women, and children. Thus, I congratulate you all for the good work that is being done and ask you to continue doing the same in worshipping our God without getting tired, "said Bishop Keshomshahara.
Furthermore, he congratulates the coordinators of men's, women's, and children's units led by Rev. Ainekisha Bulaya, who is the coordinator of the Department of Nurturing.
This event was celebrated by different groups under the Department of Nurturing of the Southern A church district like men's choirs of Ihangiro, Bwoga, Biirabo, and many other places within that church district together with Bethania choir group and children's choir group from Rwantege congregation.
