From 7th to 13rd July 2025, seven Sisters (deaconesses) from Ntoma Namalira Mother House, which is a part of the North Western Diocese ( NWD) , obtained an opportunity to participate in the Diakonia World Assembly at Uhuru Hotel in Moshi- Kilimanjaro . The theme for the assembly was " Dancing the Faith - Drumming up Hope” It was a very interesting meeting which reviewed the calicative diaconia amid globalization and its associated challenges. The assembly was attended by deaconesses from various protestant - Lutheran confessional churches in all inhabitable continents. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania was a host church via the Northern diocese. We thank God for diaconia as one of the aspect of mission and for granting us opportunity to participate in his mission (mision Dei)
