It is a duty of every believer to oppose the false teachings by word of God in our community, Prof Faustine Mahali insisted.

Rev. Prof. Faustine Mahali has also said false teachings has resulted in many challenges to the  Evangalical Church, and has also  emphasized that it is a duty of every true christian to oppose the same through the word of God. 

While speaking to the ELCT/NWD General Assembly (Synod) held at the Southern A church district, Muleba, he emphasized that true teachings must be tested in Biblical standards and not external influence and signs. 

Furthermore, he said that false teachings exist, and it is the duty of every Christian believer to oppose them with courage and correct intelligence of the Holy Word. 

Additionally, he has said that believers should test God's servants with their actions and not words "You will see the results though their deeds", he said. 

He also emphasized that believers should use their common sense to think critically what is being taught and not be a follower of every knowledge that is fed to them or every spirit cast upon them. 

He explained that because people are being fooled, not understanding the word of God is one of the negative outcomes, temptation of early and fast success, not having firm faith and following easy ways that are immoral.
