The Bishop of The Evangalical Lutheran Church in Tanzania North Western Diocese,  Dr. Abednego  Keshomshahara  has officially  opened the General Assembly (Synod)  which is held at Southern A church district.

In opening this assembly, Bishop Dr. Keshomshahara has insisted believers to avoid fake  prophets by quoting a word from the Holy Bible,  book of Mathew 7:15
"Beware of false prophets......" 

He has said that the false prophets who preach falsely in society have caused more harm than good, like fraud, death, and even family conflicts and  misunderstandings. 

In his greetings after the opening of the assembly, Bishop Dr. Benson Bagonza of Karagwe Diocese, he has congratulated Bishop Dr. Keshomshahara for being voted as a  deputy chairperson of Christian Council of Church in Tanzania( CCT )and praying that he does his duties in wisdom. 

Bishop Bagonza emphasized the word from Mathew 7:15, insisting members of the assembly to be beware of false teachings. 

He also emphasized that when  these teachings turns into  crimes, it is the duty of the government to take legal action.
