12th Graduation Ceremony at MLVTC: Skills, Discipline, and Unity Exemplified by Graduates
The 12th graduation ceremony of Muleba Lutheran Vocational Training College (MLVTC) took place on November 15, 2025, where the College Principal, Mr. Jaspa Elias Masilingi, urged parents to continue supporting their youth in ICT and domestic electrical engineering, saying the training enhances employment opportunities and self-employment.
He thanked the leaders of the North-West Diocese (DKMG) for their oversight and care aimed at enabling youth to combat unemployment challenges.
He also encouraged the graduates to work diligently and be role models in their communities.
In their address, the graduates said the college continues to produce skilled professionals and that the skills they've acquired will give them greater independence in life. They pledged to uphold cooperation, ethics, and dedication as taught at the college, emphasizing these as the foundation for their future success.
The Guest of Honor, Mr. Luther Israel Lutashobya, Assistant Treasurer of DKMG, representing the Secretary General Rev. Dr. Elmereck Kigembe, commended the college staff for strengthening practical training.
He added that DKMG will continue collaborating with the college to expand infrastructure and enhance training quality, especially in rapidly evolving technologies.
He urged the graduates to be good ambassadors of the college by demonstrating discipline and integrity at work and continuing to learn daily to keep pace with the modern world.
Some graduates told the media they were proud of their achievement and thanked their teachers for building their skills and character, saying they are now ready to face the job market with more confidence.
