The Bishop of the NWD Dr. Abednego Keshomshahara has led opened the Easter Conference on wednesday in the Holy week. An Easter Conference was attended by  students who are members of UKWATA which is a religious students’ association. This year an Easter Conference is goin on and organized to take place at Bishop Kibira Secondary School in Nyakato area, Bukoba District Council  from 16th to 21st April, 2025. 

During the opening session of the said conference, the Bishop encouraged students to put much efforts in their studies at the same time praying for God's grace. 

The said Conference has been attended by more than eight hundred students from different schools and colleges which are branches of UKWATA in Kagera Region 
. He opened by reading from the book of Isaiah 45:22 "Look unto me, and be ye saved......".
The Student’s pastor Rev Jonathan Ntwale expressed gratitude to the bishop, to members and patrons/matrons from each branch. 
Students are very happy to meet and share life issues through an Easter Conference
