The Presiding bishop of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania, Bishop Dr. Alex Gahaz Malasusa, has blessed and opened a Christian Education and Ethics Center located at Lutheran Junior Seminar, Morogoro together with other delegates of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) He has visiteed and seen the progress of the same center. 

The center is expected to  train christian education instructors to churches, primary schools, secondary schools and colleges. 

In the same event, the presiding bishop also lauched the ELCT marathon which will take place on 21st June, 2025 in Arusha. 

The marathons are expected to be centered on donations to more than 1500 children living in vulnerable environment by providing Health Insurance and also aiding the students at Mwanga (Primary) and Njombe (Secondary) Schools for the deaf.
